Leslie Valenza
Leslie Valenza's passion for acting developed at the young age when
she joined a community theater group at the age of nine.  As a theater
actress from Fairfax, Virginia, Leslie performed in a number of plays
with the Robinson Theater Department and became a member of the
International Thespian Society.

Leslie was awarded with a "Best Actress Award" and several
"All=Starr Cast Awards" at such competitions as the Virginia Theater
Association State Competition and Nothern Virginia Districts for her
performances as Estelle in Satrtre's "No Exit, as Mrs.Clemens in
"David and Lisa" and as Mum in "To Destroy You Is No Loss", a play
based on true stories of Cambodian concentration camps.

While studying public communications and cinema studies at American
University in Washington, D.C., Leslie developed a deeper
appreciation for the entire process of film production and film theory.

Currently, Leslie is starring in her first film role as Launa, a woman in
search of her missing sister who discovers and ancient evil lurking in
an abandoned prison in the independent thriller,
THE 8TH PLAGUE.
About  DJ:
As a young actress taking on my
first film, I am extremely lucky to
have worked with someone like DJ
Perry.  From day one, DJ acted as
a mentor by enthusiastically
offering sincere feedback and
insights to the movie business.
Fans know DJ is naturally talented, but
more importantly his genuine passion
for acting inspires those around him to
learn the craft and fully develop their
characters and the film in its entirety.
Having such a complete love for film is
both a blessing and a curse, and DJ has
certainly enhanced that spark in my life.
