I have had the awesome opportunity of working with
DJ a couple of times! We are Michigan natives and our
paths crossed here and there (it's a small group of
horror freaks in the mitten!) and we were soon acting
opposite one another on the film "Blood Ties". It was a
really fun shoot, I was still new to the film world and
DJ was a seasoned vet so it was inspiring and
enjoyable to watch him. I also feel like it really pushed
me to explore new things in my acting while working in
scenes with him. DJ was extremely professional and a
little mysterious. We didn't get to know each other that
well...but I'm convinced we never broke character and
that's why!

From then on I continued to follow DJ and all of his projects, and thankfully he kept me in that
crazy mind of his too! He cast me in the upcoming project "Sliver Lake", and it was during that
time I was able to see how fun loving, open, and honest of a person DJ is. He is an "actor's actor"
through and through. He wears many hats in the film world, but is always fully understanding as an
actor and completely supportive. We were able to talk much more this time, and DJ's outlook on the
business is very inspiring and I admire all of his hard work and success. One day on set he was
checking in with everybody and when he looked to me he took a moment and said, "She's just
HAPPY." And there you have it, a couple happy, passionate kids! That why I love ya! Thanks for
