Anderson

Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Nicola Anderson began her career as a performer at a young age.  She was first introduced to the arts through dance.  Nicola then moved on to singing where she became involved with the Musical Theater in Vancouver.

Later, Nicola pulled up stakes and moved to New York City where she received training at American Musical and Dramatic Academy.  (AMDA)

Throughout her five years in New York, Nicola was involved with performing as well as directing many theatrical productions.  Nicola became interested in film and worked on many independent films.

When Nicola returned to Vancouver, she submersed herself in the Meisner Technique and discovered herself as an actor.  Nicola has been fortunate to have had the opportunities that come while working on sets of film and television projects.  It is truly an amazing life to be able to create something new everyday.

Workng with DJ was a riot.  There was never a dull moment, whether it was hearing him bellowing through the woods or drinking our Sierra Nevada water after a long day of shooting.

What I really enjoyed about DJ was watching him work.  The honesty and vulnerability that he brought to his character was refreshing to see.   He gave so much as an actor that he made our jobs easier.  I enjoyed working with DJ and I hope that in the near future I'll have that pleasure again.
