Nathalie Ben-Kely
Nathalie Ben-Kely was born in Civitavecchia, Italy and moved to the United
States when she was five years old. Her mother is Italian and her father is from
Israel, and she speaks fluent Italian as it was her first language. Her family
moved to New Jersey and lived there for about 20 years.

While in New Jersey, Nathalie completed school and recived a BA in Theater
Arts from Ramapo College of New Jersey, along with a Minor in Italian Studies.

Nathalie was the lead singer of the band To The Moon for 6 years. To The Moon
was an up and coming original rock band that was making a pretty big name for
themselves in the New York City and Philadelphia areas. They had the honor of
playing some big venues such as the famous Knitting Factory in New York City,
and a monthly gig at the legendary Continental bar. Nathalie has been singing
and acting her entire life. She tried sports as a kid, but her father always told her
" you weren't born with a ball in your hand, you were born on stage", he was
right! She has always had a love for the stage, but has now finally decided to
expand her world and try her hand in the movie business.
Two years, ago Nathalie moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to be with her family who
had left New Jersey 6 years earlier. She loves living in Las Vegas, and spends her
time working as a Vet Assistant and all her other free time riding her horses. She
loves to ride and train horses, and is also a Team Roper ( a western rodeo sport).
Nathalie also has a role in The Sopranos Last Supper at the Tropicana Hotel on
the Las Vegas Strip. It is a dinner theater style show, modeled after the famous
HBO show "The Sopranos". Nathalie plays the role of Adriana La Cerva a few
times a month. Nathalie also enjoys writing her own music and has had two
songs produced, with one to be used in the up coming film "Renovation". Check
out her myspace page to listen to her own original songs, as well as a few of To
The Moon's songs, and to see pictures of her!

Working with DJ Perry:

Well, I have to say that in a
nutshell working with DJ was
like taking the "Acting for
camera, and movies" class I
never took in college! DJ taught
me so much! Renovation was my
first movie, and I honestly had
no idea how different working
in front of a camera was
compared to all of my theater
training. DJ took my hand from
day one and guided me through
every step of it. He told me
things that I never realized until
he made them apparent to me
about the movie world in front
of, and behind the scenes. I
really enjoyed watching him
work too.
Sometimes I would go on set just to watch him in his scenes, studying his
movements and soaking in all that I could. From his facial expressions to his
way of talking and enveloping a character, he truly was/is an inspiration to me!
Aside from the "classes" he gave me, he became a very good friend. He is such a
warm and caring person! One of the rare ones! Always checking up on
everyone's well being, even down to walking around the trailer every night
dispensing his Airborne to everyone so we wouldn't all get sick! Awww what a
sweetie, thanks but no thanks!(hated the stuff)! I don't think there was ever a
time I saw DJ without that comforting smile from his eyes, even through the
rough patches, he was always there!. We got to spend a lot of time in our cast
film trailer, and we had a lot of good laughs and shared many stories. I am truly
grateful to have had the chance to meet and work with him, and am so excited
for this new life long friend I have made! Thank you for opening my eyes to so
many things DJ!
